Pictures, Day at the Taj 3 of 8

As soon as we sat down to relax for a minute after our frantic rush into the Taj grounds, people started gathering around the Western children in Indian dress, and asked for pictures with them. And asked, and asked, and asked. No kidding--I believe that over 100 people asked to take pictures with our children over the course of the 3 hours we were at the Taj Mahal.

Another lady who asked for a picture with our girls. Isn't her blue sari pretty?

Both men and women asked to pose with our family. I wonder if this picture is sitting in an Indian family's photo album now, and what they're saying about us?

Isn't she adorable?

Our girls found this bird to be one of the most interesting parts of our Taj Mahal visit. It WAS a very different-looking bird, and we stood and watched it for at least 15 minutes (partly because that enabled us to stay in the shade on this blasting hot day).
